About us
We are a small specialist "Exterior Wall Painting Company". Previously with over ten years experience of spraying & painting large commercial buildings and now, over 8 years dedicated experience in painting house exteriors. Bringing these methods and techniques to home owners like you, as a cost effective alternative to traditional methods.
What makes the difference?
The unseen part of the work we do is the most important. Anything not to be painted is covered and protected to prevent unsightly and un-removable paint spills. When de-masked, leaving nice clean lines to give that crisp new look, and a new paint job that will last for many years to come.
You can click on the images on the right to give a better idea of what we do to protect your biggest investment. If you have time, have a look at our photo galleries gallery 1 and gallery 2 to see a good selection of before and after pictures.
Application of paint via air less sprayers & high volume powered rollers are just part of the process. Two important rules are used when applying the paint.
1 Quantity. The more paint used the better the overall appearance plus a longer life (a typical 3 bed semi covered in pebbledash can have 250 to 300 liters of paint applied to it).
2 Uniform finish. Masonry paints tend to leave lines where an area has dried and paint is applied adjacent to it. The remedy is not to allow the paint to dry until the join can be hidden by a corner, drain or sewer pipe etc.
Surfaces that can be painted and how
Not all surfaces can be sprayed but we do have several different methods of application, this means we can cover almost any surface. We will advise of the method for your property on your quotation. Just some of the surfaces we are able to cover include; Pebbledash, Spa Dash, Rough Cast (Harling in Scotland), Tyrolean, Cement Splash (applied with a Tyrolean gun), brick, textured and smooth coatings. In fact, we can cover 99.99% of all exterior surfaces.
Pricing
You can use our Instant Online Cost Estimator to get an instant guide price for your property. Our online cost estimator allows you to get an idea of cost night or day. This tool provides an estimate based on a few simple questions so it cannot be deemed as a quote, although we have tried to make it as accurate as possible. Once we have seen a property, we will offer a full written quotation. Quotations are all inclusive, materials, labour etc. This means no nasty surprises at the end of the job; the price quoted is the price you pay.
P.S. Dulux Weathersheild & Johnstone's Stormsheild both have a life expectancy of 15 years so make sure you choose a colour you like!
